Study Audio Engineering

If you dream of a career as a Studio Engineer, Live Sound Technician, or Sound Designer for film and television, this course is for you.

The Audio Engineering course is perfect for people who want to be producers and specialists in a variety of audio production fields including live sound, recording, producing and post-production. You will be taught and mentored by experienced industry experts who are currently working as live sound technicians, producers, and post-production specialists.

You will work with analogue and digital equipment in our cutting-edge facilities, where you will master a variety of software and learn in small-sized classes so that you finish the degree with a wealth of hands-on experience.

If you have family, work or other commitments that prevent you from attending on-campus, you can study this course online. Take your lectures and classes online with the same industry teachers, same facility and services access, and opportunities to connect with your peers via school-wide online events.

Online Audio students learn how to control live lighting and mix sound direct in the Auditorium, all the way from home using remote DiGiCo controls and mixing consoles. Students also learn the magic of Dolby Atmos and recording by remote controlling on-campus studio computers. You can learn more about what it’s like to study Audio Engineering online here.

Audio Engineering students also work closely with students from other courses to gain a well-rounded understanding of processes involved in the music and entertainment industry.
